20" x 52" x 19" is the largest custom cedar chest we build. The reason for the extra length of the chest is to accomodate guns in the false bottom. The wood is 3/4" thick and is hand selected for quality, matching grain, and color. Grain and character will vary from tree to tree so each cedar chest is unique. Color will vary due to the unique color range and characteristics of the cedar wood itself.

Cedar Trim
Matching cedar trim around all the edges adds an extra strength to the sides and edges.

False Bottom
The False Bottom is still optional, however, it is the reason for the name of this oversized cedar chest. The False Bottom was orignally designed to conceal rifles and shotguns and the chest is extra long to accomodate the length of the firearms.

Removable Tray
The Removable Tray is made from solid cedar and is convenient for storing smaller items. The tray can be ordered as a 1/2 or full length tray and is priced accordingly.


Each individually hand-crafted and hand woodburned/oil colored cedar chest is beautifully made from personally selected cedar. Your Keepsake Box will preserve your treasures by the fragrant aromatic properties of cedar. Choose the size of the chest/box and art work from the standard designs we have in stock or check into having yours custom crafted. Your Quality Cedar Chest and Keepsake Box is finished with brass accessories. All large cedar chests have casters for easy moving.
