About Our Company
Quality Cedar Chests, Hope Chests, & Keepsake Boxes is strictly a family owned and run company. Our aromatic cedar chests and keepsake boxes are created one by one the old-fashioned way, NOT in a factory, but by hand in a workshop. Each Cedar Chest, Hope Chest, and Keepsake box is the highest quality and 100% aromatic solid cedar wood.
We believe in customer satisfaction and we guarantee our products for workmanship. They are made to last for generations, not just for a few years. We use only the best quality materials available to us.
Our business was established in 1985 and has been going strong since. We are proud of our tradition of quality workmanship. We select, mill and dry the cedar boards. Cedar wood varies from tree to tree so we keep the boards from a tree together so the wood grain and color matches. Quality and Customer Service is #1.
Pictured here is part of our selection process. We cut only the trees that will provide the optimum quality cedar for our boxes.

After the tree is felled, we remove limbs leaving the trunk.

The trunks are sliced into smaller more manageable sizes, leaving them as long as possible for the larger cedar chests. We personally mill each log into boards which are kept together. This way each cedar chest is made from matching wood grain and the color will remail uniform.

Each individually hand-crafted and hand woodburned/oil colored cedar chest is beautifully made from personally selected cedar. Your Keepsake Box will preserve your treasures by the fragrant aromatic properties of cedar. Choose the size of the chest/box and art work from the standard designs we have in stock or check into having yours custom crafted. Your Quality Cedar Chest and Keepsake Box is finished with brass accessories. All large cedar chests have casters for easy moving.
